Privacy Policy

Last Updated: September 2026

Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how AcquityData ("Company", "we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects personal information when you access or use the AcquityData platform ("Service").

By using our website or services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Personal Information We Collect

When you create an account or use our services, we may collect:

  • Full Name
  • Email Address
  • Username and Password
  • Company Name (if provided)

This information is used to create your account, provide access to the Service, and communicate important updates.

Signing In with Google

If you choose to sign up or sign in using "Sign in with Google," Google shares with us your name, email address, and a unique Google account identifier. We use this information solely to create and authenticate your AcquityData account.

We do not request or receive access to your Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, or any other Google data beyond your basic profile and email. You can review or revoke AcquityData's access at any time from your Google Account permissions page.

Free Preview & Fraud Prevention

New users who sign up via Google receive a free, limited-time preview of the Service with no payment required. To prevent abuse of this offer (for example, repeatedly creating new accounts to re-trigger a free preview), we collect and retain the IP address used at signup and a device fingerprint — a technical identifier generated from your browser and device characteristics, not personally identifying on its own.

This information is used only for fraud and abuse prevention. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or shared with third parties except where required by law.

How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide and maintain the Service
  • Process subscriptions and payments
  • Respond to customer support requests
  • Improve platform functionality and user experience
  • Comply with legal and regulatory obligations

Payments & Billing Information

Subscription payments are processed securely by an authorized third-party payment provider acting as Merchant of Record.

We do not directly collect or store full credit card or debit card details. Payment information is handled securely by the payment provider in accordance with their privacy and security standards.

We may retain limited transaction information such as billing name, billing address, and transaction history for accounting and compliance purposes.

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information.

We may share limited information with:

  • Payment processing providers
  • Google, when you use "Sign in with Google" (for authentication only)
  • Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers
  • Analytics service providers, only if you have consented to analytics cookies
  • Legal or regulatory authorities when required by law

Third-Party Links

Our platform may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices or content.

Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Restrict or object to processing
  • Withdraw consent where applicable

To exercise these rights, please contact us at [email protected].

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority. We process your personal data on the basis of performing our contract with you (providing the Service), our legitimate interests (such as fraud prevention), and, for analytics cookies, your consent.

Cookies

We use two categories of cookies:

  • Strictly necessary cookies — required for the site to function (for example, keeping you signed in). These are set automatically and do not require consent.
  • Analytics cookies (Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager) — help us understand how the Service is used. These are only set after you accept them via the cookie consent banner shown on your first visit.

You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie Preferences" link in the site footer, or by controlling cookies through your browser settings.

Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised date.
